I need a cheap TV for a spare bedroom and I keep seeing Onn brand TVs at Walmart for ridiculously low prices like a 50 inch 4K for 180 bucks. Onn is Walmart's house brand and I've never heard anyone talk about them which makes me suspicious. Reviews on Walmart's site are surprisingly positive but I don't know if those are real or manipulated. I'm trying to figure out if these are legitimate budget options or if they're so cheap because they're complete garbage that'll die in 6 months. It's for casual use, guest bedroom TV that might get used a few times a month, so I don't need premium quality. But I also don't want to waste money on something that literally doesn't work or has terrible picture quality. Black Friday will probably drop these even cheaper and I'm tempted but I don't want to make a mistake buying the absolute bottom of the barrel.
