Im on this page, trying to look for the most up-to-date firmware for my U7H.

On my TV, I go into the settings and check the serial and type it out in the search field on the page above. I consistently get an error "Serial Number is Not Correct" and I know with 110% certainly that it is. I've checked it, re-checked it and it's definitely the right serial number. I've also previously registered my TV with Hisense too.
Anyone run into this same issue? I don't see another way around getting to the firmware downloads without entering in the TV serial # either.

You have to go to the system messages. Settings, system, advanced system help, system message, serial number will be the on top. If the numbers start in 0 then it is not the correct numbers, this was explained by hisense support.

Same issue The serial number is the one on the tag on the back. The serial number on the screen is for the motherboard. You need to use the one on the back of the TV.
