19-2 was of the best shows I've ever seen, and pretty much no one in The States has heard of it. What else am I missing? I'm looking for something modern, and preferably with a proper ending so wife and I can binge watch.
I do not speak french, so it has to be in English too.
Edit: Thank you for all of the suggestions. I haven't heard of most, but I'll look into every one of them. Hard to believe a lot of good CA drama gets overlooked here in the states. Seems everyone knows the comedies like Schitts Creek or Trailer Park Boys, but none of the serious stuff.

It is still running, so no proper end yet, but Murdoch Mysteries has been on forever (currently running season 18 I think), so there’s a lot of episodes to binge! I also second Flashpoint, it was a great show. Also enjoyed Rookie Blue.

One word: Flashpoint. More words: It is one of the best dramas, Canadian or otherwise, that I've seen in a long time. It's based in Toronto and is about the SRU (Strategic Response Unit) which is essentially a SWAT team focusing on negotiation and de-escalation. The cast is amazing (great actors, great characters), the writing is a constant stream of gems and it hits like an emotional truck every other episode, just not to a point that makes you depressed. To this day, I'm shocked how little people know about it considering it had a damn good budget and tons (tons) of accolades.

I am from India, and have watched many series and movies that are based in US, and I get a basic idea of US culture (not much, just a basic idea, as I know TV can be deceiving when it comes to showing culture).
For eg, from watching TV/movies these are things I know about US: big cars/trucks, lack of walking culture, hurricanes, credit-cards, lawyers, can-sue-for-anything, karens, 4th of July, screwed-without-health-insurance, no-trains, NY subway, ... you get the gist.
I wanted to get myself acquainted with Canada.

Anne with an E and Murdoch Mysteries show a glimpse of Edwardian Canada. Corner Gas, Heartland and Rookie Blue are more modern day. Shitts Creek, Letterkenny and Shoresy are funny take on modern small town Ontario. Kim’s Convenience is a funny take on life in Toronto for an immigrant family. Transplant a more serious take & medical drama. Degrassi is a long running take on high school life in a gritty part of Toronto. Due South is a show about a RCMP officer in Chicago that is a classic and for some reason has stayed popular in the UK, Australia and New Zealand longer than it has in Canada.
