We have an old TV stand that I think no longer goes with the rest of the room + I think the room has too much wood already and I’d like to mount the TV on the wall and get rid of the stand entirely. In its place, I was thinking of adding a bench with storage. Or maybe nothing at all (although my husband will complain about his PS4 having no place). Please ignore the box on the left.

I have a 65" TV and you want it to be closer to the ground than you're realizing, because otherwise the middle of the screen won't be at eye height.
