What are some of the top-rated 55 - 59 in tv tv stands?
How to choose a TV stand?
Choosing the right TV stand is really about getting the size and setup to feel effortless. Go for a stand that’s at least as wide as your TV so the whole area feels grounded and balanced. For comfortable viewing, aim to have the center of your screen at seated eye level — which typically works out to about 42 inches from the floor. Keep your sofa roughly 1.5 to 2.5 times the TV’s diagonal distance away, and you’ll get a crisp, easy viewing experience. And don’t forget cable management: a stand with cutouts or hidden panels keeps wires out of sight, so the whole room looks calm and considered.
Can I use a sideboard as a TV stand?
You absolutely can. A sideboard often doubles as a wonderfully stylish and versatile TV stand, especially if its height and width align beautifully with your screen. It's a clever design hack that provides ample storage and a cohesive look, proving that good design knows no boundaries.

Good TV stand for a 55 inch, and space for game consoles?
If you want budget it seems like a lot of people are happy with their Ikea Besta tv stands, which are pretty customizable.
We finally bit the bullet and became adults when we got a 65" Q80T a few weeks back and got the BDI Corridor, which looks awesome and has all the space (well ventilated and with good cable runs) that you'd need. We opted for the 4 door version and absolutely love it, but they have a 3 door that is a little less expensive and I think might have a media storage drawer in the center partition. My wife is incredibly happy that all the audio and gaming equipment fit into a beautiful stand and the TV looks very classy on top.
It's definitely on the pricier side, but the thing is just made to be easy to use with AV gear. I've done some rearranging and re-wiring of some things since we set it up and it was super easy because it's on hidden wheels and I could just roll it back from the wall and then push it back into place. The panels in the back on either side are slidable (and fully detachable if you just wanna toss it in a closet instead), which was great to give my AVR and PS4 Pro some well needed ventilation.
