Can you be too old for a twin bed?
Can two adults sleep on a twin bed?
Are two twin beds the same as a double?
I have a double as a single. My plan is to zip tie the frames together and get a foam mattress topper, but I’m wondering has anyone used clear packaging tape to tape the two mattresses together too? I don’t think duct tape will work because it leaves behind a sticky residue.
I'm moving to a VERY small studio (with basically no storage) and looking for an adjustable bed frame for when I have company over (a twin bed would be too small to share). I'm starting to wonder... is this something I can make myself? Has anyone else tried to do this?
I have no idea if this is the right subreddit to ask this question but I've had/seen great input here so I figured I'd ask
Husband and I are trying to get a new mattress, we want something in king size.
At first my husband suggested getting two twins, putting it together, to create a king and I totally balked at the idea at first ... But now I'm really thinking about it and it might be better to do it that way?
Usually when you've used your mattress for a while, you'll see a dip in the center from where you've been laying. If we get 1 kind mattress, all we're doing is creating a BIG dip while two twins, you're creating two dips that are more contoured to your body.
We currently have a Queen and we both roll to the middle because of how huge that dip is and it's uncomfortable.
Has anyone done the "twin*2" thing and did it feel comfortable/make sense to do so?
