Was it the Maxwell? I remember that. I did think their inserts were oppressively heavy, though. I do use two twins (one duvet/comforter, one blanket next to each other , king flat and fitted sheet under that)on a king mattress since we like such different sleeping temperatures, and I found a king duvet was just too heavy if it starts falling to one side and all that. If you’re on the fence, I highly recommend it. I do not think European sizes would be a whole lot different on a twin, but I have only bought twin sizes from European brands like Ikea and H&M which may standardize to US dimensions. Hello, my husband and I like the Norther European bedding when we visited and wanted to adapt it to our bed.
Do people that use two duvets generally not have a bedsheet on top of them? Just duvet with cover only?

My fiancé and I do this because he cocoons himself in his sleep and I would never have any blanket. We have one fitted sheet, two flat sheets, and two duvets. It actually is amazing and more comfortable for each of us.

Yes we use just the two duvets, no top sheet. Our duvets are full size on a king bed. So there’s room to lay them out side by side. Sooo much better than fighting over the blanket all night and more choices on which foot to stick out
