I bought the usb c to lightning cable from Apple, along with the 30w usb c charging brick from Anker, from 19% to 100% took about an hr and a half for my Xs Max. Here’s a link to the Anker charger.

I tried it but returned everything. I didn't think it was worth it. I was finding I was forcing myself to use it (not charging my phone overnight for example) to justify the absurd pricing (even with the Anker brick).
With my wireless pad at home, a wireless stand at work, and a car plug in my car, it's not something I need.

Good day, USB-C community! I have been purchasing used Apple USB-C charging bricks under the notion that they are of a MUCH higher quality than typical third-party chargers (including folks like Anker and Aukey). I have two of the Apple 96w chargers and they seem to work just fine... and I picked them up for a song. I have a colleague that thinks that's the Apple chargers are nothing special and that I'd be much better off purchasing one of the higher-end Anker charging bricks that have multiple ports.
What say you, community?

I'd say nothing special but less of a worry of one burning your house down. That being said, I tend to go w/ Anker as they are smaller, reliable, and have more ports. I'm not an expert, this is just my experience.
