Is it really necessary know all the excel functions?
All the functions? That's near impossible. There are so many different categories most people would never use. I work in finance for example... I'm never touching the weird engineering type functions. It's good to know the functions that help you do your job on a day to day basis and it's useful to know how to properly Google everything else you might need less often, as and when you need it.
