My wife and I are turning one of our bedrooms into a home office and we want to build a wrap around U desk so that both of us can work on it at the same time. I was looking at using the LINNMON table tops to do this, but am unsure if there is way that I can attach them to each other so that it is one solid desk.
I also wanted to reduce the amount of legs I would need to buy. I was thinking about getting 2 corner tops and the long table top, but if I put the the corner and long table top next to each other there are 2 legs right next to each other, which seems unnecessary if I can find a way to connect the 3 tops together. If I could elminate these legs all together so that I can an unobstructed desk front, that would be even better.
Has anyone done any anything like this with the LINNMON series, or built a large wrap around desk using another series from Ikea?

I am looking for a "U" desk from Ikea. I'm specifically looking for multiple pieces, that I can put together and it would form an "U".
I don't really have any preferences for storage, but I would prefer if there is overhead storage it is only on one of the side pieces.
I am fine if you guys bought pieces and just built it your own, I would just want a name of the product and how you guys made it and a slight description of how it looks. If it could all be under $500-$600 that would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you! <3
