Hi all, been trying to get this done but I was hoping to run into someone who has some experience with this.
I want to ship a 30lb 24x24x 7 (medium size) box with a piece of furniture to Canada from the US. Besides the price to ship be tripled is there anything I should know/do to make the process simple and easy?
I ship this box from California to Far East coast and shipping cost average $60. I’ve punched in random Canadian addresses into FedEx system and see it can go up to $200. Is this common? Or is this priced overinflated. Thanks.
Aside from sales tax which I am okay paying, what extra "customs brokerage fee" does Fedex tack on at the door these days for $500 USD phone ?
Is there any possibility to request using postal service instead ? (it's fairly sure CP will be back at work by the time of shipping... and they have a much lesser nominal collection fee ...)
ALSO is lightphone MADE IN USA and will be marked as such on shipping documents ?
