Anyone using Noctua NH-U12A with the 5950X or 5900X? Need info about temps
There was a post here recently explaining that these Zen 3 chips are designed to run hotter so not to worry even if you have temps in the 80s.

How well does the nh u12a compare to the nh d15?
It is slightly worse, but a lot more compact so for smaller cases or people with RAM clearance issues it is better.
More on reddit.comHad my eyes set on a noctua NH-U12A, but is it too much?
The 5600x comes with a good cooler already if you’re not planning on overclocking

Is there a Noctua NH-U12A equivalent for the socket TR4 (Threadripper) platform?
Will the Noctua NH-U12A fit in a GIGABYTE X570 AORUS XTREME ?
I'm upgrading from a Ryzen 3600 to a 5800X3D and I'm considering getting the U12A to cool it, because the Chromax version will look really nice with my black and white build, especially with the white heatsink covers. However the massive price tag is making me think twice because there are coolers that literally cost a third of the price but perform better according to benchmarks. Please convince me that the U12A will be worth it, especially since it costs half the price of the CPU itself.
