I have done both courses myself .. and I would say that andrew ng course is way better than Udemy course .. andrews course contain more of theoretical and concept building style, but is also very praticle if you do all the assignments and quizes yourself .. the only downside is that all the assignments are in Matlab/Octave when i should have been in Python .. Its a good question and one that is relevant to many teachers. I use Moodle and don't know much about the others, so will paste in some Wikipedia research. Moodle: Started in 2002. "Skillshare is an online learning community for people who want to create educational videos. The courses, which are not accredited, are available through subscription. The majority of courses focus on interaction rather than lecturing, with the primary goal of learning by completing a project." Degreed Started in 2012. I personally got a lot more value from ten dollar udemy courses. Unless you need the structure and projects, I would recommend looking somewhere other than Udacity.
