You need to set Platform in "User Mode", Secure Boot in "Standard Mode" and Load Setup Defaults.

You could do it by Restoring Factory Keys:

  1. BIOS - Security - Secure Boot - Restore Factory Keys - Enter
  2. BIOS - Restart - OS Optimized Defaults - Enabled
  3. BIOS - Restart - Load Setup Defaults - Enter
  4. Go to BIOS - Main and check if UEFI Secure Boot is ON.

No Secure Boot Option
I have a B450 Tomahawk. Made sure my drive that boots up my Windows (SSD in my case ) had a partition style: GPT and not MBR. Then, in BIOS, I had to set it from Legacy/UEFI to UEFI, saved then restarted. Went back into BIOS and I found the CSM to UEFI switch in the Advanced Tab / Windows OS configuration / BIOS CSM/UEFI and changed it, and for me, I already saw the Secure Boot option ON but chose to disable it like you mentioned for the reboot. After it restarted like normal, I ONCE more went back into BIOS and enabled Secure Boot. Probably rebooted more than I needed to but it worked! Such a headache. More on reddit.com

I can’t enable Secure Boot on my pc, I’m Windows 11 and MSI click 5 (X299 Tomahawk Ac Motherboard) and in videos I found it seems to be in Windows Os Configuration, but I don’t see it there, it shows up when I search it but it says I need to do something with Pk keys, an option I also don’t see anywhere and it doesn’t come up when I search for it, every video I ever found talking about secure boot has options I don’t have, also in case it’s important, I get to my bios setting from windows troubleshooting settings, pressing Del/F11 does nothing on startup

On systems that old, the option for Secure Boot is hidden and the motherboard needs CSM disabled in order for it to appear ... First, you need to make sure your Windows drive is in GPT instead of MBR because it won't boot after disabling CSM unless it's converted to GPT. There's plenty of tutorials on YouTube on how to convert your Windows drive without losing data ... After the conversion, boot into the BIOS and look for a setting called "Windows 8/10 WHQL Support" and enable it. This option is actually a toggle switch between CSM and UEFI Mode, and once it's enabled, the motherboard will disable CSM, enable UEFI Mode. So enable it first, save and exit, and confirm that Windows 10 boots afterwards. It should because of the drive conversion. From here, return to the BIOS and the Secure Boot section should now be revealed. Chose to enroll the platform keys and let it reboot .... then cross your fingers. There's a 50/50 chance that enrolling the platform keys will corrupt your BIOS and brick your motherboard ... You also need a GPU manufactured around 2019 to ensure it has a UEFI compliant VBIOS ...

Hi Sky. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, here to help you.

I would not set a BIOS password as if it stops working most manufacturers have made it impossible to reset without shipping it back, and you must be under warranty and registered as the owner - due to corporate clients requiring this since they often password their BIOS' against theft of company secrets.

Did you reset Secure Boot to factory defaults which is always on along with UEFI?

When you flashed BIOS to latest, did you follow all steps in the Support pages and in any Read Me file included in download? Some BIOS require resetting to defaults after flashing so make sure you completed all steps. If in doubt at all, ask Acer Support or in their forums or the best hardware forums Tom's Hardware forums here: https://forums.tomshardware.com/

There is a known issue of TPM and Secure boot on in BIOS but not recognized by Windows 11. This is covered in these threads which have various solutions to try until one works:

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...

https://www.reddit.com/r/ASUS/comments/purtsf/w...

If none of these work then report back results for each so I know what else to suggest.
