Are more UX/UI jobs requiring that you have a portfolio on behance or dribble
A personal website is enough, but usually I stalk applicants on dribble and behance. If they don't have work posted there, I still have a look at their appreciations, to have a general feeling on what they like and what they aspire to.

Is Behance a waste of time?

I've seen a couple of jobs posted today where one of the requirements was to have a portfolio on behance or dribble. Just wanted to see if anyone else also noticed that. I only use the sites for inspiration and prefer to have my own website.

This is so strange. Why would the platform matter at all?
Also this tells me they think UX = UI.
Hi everyone. Ι am a recent ux graduate and I have been trying to land a job in the UX field. As I am not getting much positive feedback from companies , I am wondering if I really have to build a website-portfolio. I currently have a behance profile with a few case studies, that I am sharing with recruiters through my applications. In some communities such as the IDF, they recommend behance as your very first platform to show off your work, since it is free, and quite popular, but I am not sure anymore.
Would it make a difference if I built a website? I am not sure if it makes sense to pay for a website at the moment, for me, and I am also not so sure if can build a nice and professional looking website with free solutions, such as wix or WordPress.
What's your opinion on this? I would appreciate sharing your thoughts. Cheers!
