Ive seen a handful of different brands of drain plugs lights, don’t have any personal experience. I would definitely advise pulling the boat though. To many things to go wrong in that scenario and means you would have to submerge with wiring that goes with it. I’m not saying it can’t be done, I’ve changed multiple thru hull tri ducers in the water. Only difference is that it cost over 1k to haul a boat that size. They always gather around any dock lights in the BVI. The prevailing wisdom seems to be that the lights attract bugs which makes the feeding better, but I am not a fish doctorman.
