I bought a new dining set last year and shopped around at a few places. Kimbrell’s has furniture in-stock and ready for delivery, but assembly is required and the furniture didn’t seem good quality. Basically the same as ordering something from Wayfair. Custom Home Furniture Galleries is high-end… I’m not sure what your budget is. Their sales staff was very helpful, but ultimately I decided against them because they were pricey, but you’re getting what you pay for. They can order exactly what you want since the furniture is custom-made. This was before their new outlet store in Leland opened up, so you might find a good deal there. American Freight didn’t have much selection. Home Again is a great choice depending on what you’re looking for. It’s mostly consignment pieces, but you can take it home same-day. I’d definitely recommend checking them out. Rooms to Go had good selection, but their staff seemed disinterested in helping me. I tried Furniture Fair but they didn’t have much selection. Ashley is good. They were one of the ones I narrowed down to, but the set I saw at Havertys was higher quality for the price point. Ultimately I went with Havertys. Helpful staff, high-quality furniture. The only drawback was I did have to wait about 5 months for everything to come in. When I went to pick everything up, two of the chairs weren’t assembled like they should’ve been, but their guy in the warehouse worked diligently to assemble it for me. More on reddit.com
