Hi all, this will be out first time going. Is it worth it for the extra $30 or so to pay for Front Gate/Preferred Parking over General?
I watched a couple youtube videos and read some other posts, and I am not familiar with the layout. But people were saying depending on where you park in the General section, you will be as close as Preferred is that the case?
Anyone have any advice for this?

Never do front gate. Preferred is right next to front gate and it’s cheaper. I’ve only done preferred when going with my two little toddlers personally. Worth the few extra bucks

There is a big parking garage at the top of the hill. Follow Google Maps. There are two official entrances. It's pretty obvious which entrance is for tourists and which is for staff. When you park at the official lot, you enter citywalk, which is a mall connected to the park. Just follow the signs to the entrance (The big arch) you enter through the turnstiles next to the arch (The arch is mostly decorative) More on reddit.com

May 27, 2024 - yeah the prices are wild but there are a few ways to save some cash. if you're only going for the evening like to citywalk or something parking is way cheaper after 5pm it drops to like ten bucks for general. the best hack though is to buy a movie ticket at the amc there it makes your general parking only five dollars for the whole day. another option for anyone trying to save money on parking near universal studios hollywood is to check for a private driveway on prked.
