hi there, for express we have to options one of em is you get to use it on attractions to cut the line one time so if you used it let’s say on the mummy and wanna use it again it won’t allow it so it’s the day u select it for only able to use it once per ride we also am have to other one which only is valid on 3 attractions, Jurassic world, water world, studio Tour if your not sure you don’t have to add it but when you arrive at the park and decide you want one head to the box office in front of. Starbucks on the upper lot and talk to a team member and see how you can upgrade it to an express if your A Ca resident or live in California and u plan on returning again and again I recommend getting the annual pass if not you can get the 2-day pass if you live nearby or don’t wanna pay for parking take the B-line to universal cross the bridge to take the shuttle More on reddit.com

Hello there, So the Studio Tour is included with your ticket so you can’t buy it separately. Think of it kind of like a ride. It’s about 45min-1hr and the experience varies drastically each time you ride it. I’ve had some amazing studio tour guides and some very stale ones making it seem like a drag. I’d even say ride it twice during your visit. If you go during the week, there are minimal queues so I wouldn’t get Express for that. I’ve never done VIP but know that Express comes with it if you chose to do that. Most of the attractions involve some sort of simulations so I would advise some motion sickness medicine to take with you. Also don’t miss out on Water World, that show is amazing. Show up minimum 1/2 hr before to get a good spot. More on reddit.com

Saturday will be moderately busy, driven by the cooler weather. HHN is a separate ticket. If you want to do both you would need to get a combo ticket or both. You can get a regular ticket and update to express if the lines are too long for you. Studio tour is an included part of the park and does not cost extra. You may be thinking of the VIP tour which has a special extended tour and a guide to walk you through the park. VIP is an amazing experience regardless if the park is crowded. Express pass may be unnecessary if the lines are manageable. More on reddit.com

The at the gate ticket price doesn't change depending on the date, its $159 (1-Day, no Express) or $5 more than the highest priced ticket that Universal sells online. So depending on the day you visit, you could save anywhere from $5-$50 if you buy online vs at the gate. Annual and Season Passes its $10 cheaper to buy online vs at the gate.
