i’m planning to upgrade this year and i’d rather buy unlocked so i can switch carriers later. anyone know which stores usually have the biggest discounts on unlocked iphones for black friday? i’m seeing some early deals but not sure if it’s better to wait for the actual day. any tips or past experience would help.

I just moved to Canada and planning to buy either the Google Pixel 10 or iPhone 17 this Black Friday.

I’m not sure where’s best to buy — Walmart Wireless, carrier stores, or just get the unlocked version? I heard Walmart sometimes gives gift cards on phone deals.

If I buy from a carrier on a 2-year plan, does the total price go up over time or stay the same? Any tips or best places to buy for a newcomer?

I’ve been waiting to upgrade my phone and want to grab an unlocked iPhone during this year’s Black Friday sales. I’m hoping to find a good deal that doesn’t require signing up for a carrier plan since I like switching between SIMs when I travel. I’m mainly eyeing the iPhone 15 or 15 Pro, but I’d go for an older model if the price drop is big enough. I checked Apple’s site and a few early ads from Best Buy, but the discounts don’t look that great yet. Has anyone seen solid Black Friday deals for unlocked iPhones this year?

Hey guys, Does anyone know if there is any black Friday deals for iPhone 16 pro in Canada? I found a couple but they were either for the US or for iPhone 16 (not the pro). For instance, Costco’s deal is on iPhone 16. But it doesn't make sense to me to change my phone if it’s not a pro. Any recommendations would be appreciated :)

So, apple Canada just released their official black friday offerings on their homepage. It says upto $105 CAD gift card for purchasing iphone 16/16e but no mention for any deals with 17 series...this deal seems like a bust to me. Any thoughts ?
