After looking at Flashback on ASrocks site I was suppose to rename the bios to CREATIVE.ROM my bad -_- I feel silly as I've flashed multiple times since release and forgot about that step. Update: So the latest beta for Tiachi Carrara actually requires your PC to be off to upload the firmware other wise it will simply say invalid file. After I got it up and running my Ryzen 9 7950X3D is has been stable negative 25 all cores for 5 hours. Generally I blue screen if I go above -10 all cores so this looks promising. Game mode is a big flop, CPU score in time spy drops significantly and my FPS averages out to 24! less than my 9700k.; Gaming performance was also hindered.

There is no way of knowing what BIOS version is installed on your motherboard without a CPU installed. If the 5600X doesn't boot in this motherboard, then one can assume that a BIOS update is required. I check your User Manual and did not find any BIOS Flashback function.

Again, there's really no way of telling. Even without a BIOS update the system MIGHT post to the point where you can update the BIOS, but I would not count on that. Honestly, your best bet is to take the board to a local PC shop and have them update the BIOS (if necessary).
