So I recently seen that paypal was changing/updating their apps and it stated it was getting rid of the business app. I have a PayPal account... it doesnt get used much. My account is tied to my personal email and I have the "regular or persoanl" paypal app... I also have and use the business app (also tied to my persoanl email and carries over money with the persoanl one... I use the business one for invoices... anyway in my digging I found that the business app was getting discontinued June 30 but it seems to be still functional... I looked online and didn't see any real info about what the new app or user ability is.. is anyone familiar with new setup or can explain to me?

It's not a new app exactly. They're consolidating the business app into the personal app so that there will just be the one app. They seem to have missed their deadline for now, but don't expect the old one to work for much longer. There's also a number of things that you used to do with the old app that will only be able to be done on the website (at least for now). I ran into the same problem where the latest PayPal app requires iOS 15, but my device on iOS 14. After some trial and error using Appstore++, I managed to find the newest PayPal version that still works on iOS 14.
(Paypal version 8.55.0 - is the latest PayPal app version that supports iOS 14)
What I did:
I tested different versions by switching through various x.10.x releases and spent around 10-15 minutes until I landed on version 8.55.0.
"On version 8.56.0 and newer are for iOS 15+."
If you’re on iOS 14 and can’t downgrade directly to 8.55.0, try installing older versions like 7.xx.x first, then retry 8.55.0. If that still doesn’t work, keep working your way up through newer versions until you find one that runs smoothly on your device.
Hope this helps anyone who still have Jailbroken iOS 14 devices and stuck in the same situation!
