(And I refuse, on general principle, to install a productivity app just to verify my identity for an unrelated service.) So, you were told how to solve your problem and are refusing because… you don't want to sully your device with an extra app? Yes, it should be simpler. No, you shouldn't have to do it. But… don't let the door hit you on your way out the door. And let go of the melodrama. You could have done it and it probably would have taken far less time and energy to download the app and follow the steps than the "way too much time" (your words) you spent dealing with a representative. IMO, you either don't really want to be a YTTV customer, or you're getting in your own way. So I won't refuse to take the trivial steps required to be able to pay future YTTV bills. FTFY.
