i have tried a lot of things and none have worked so far, this sub also hasnt helped. can anyone help me?
I know several people have used culinary generators in the past. I'm wondering what a good easy setup for beginning power would be.
I've got a small farm area that I can make chicken (tofu) sandwiches with, which looking at this spreadsheet it says I should get something like 36rf/t for 144sec for a total of 103,680rf per sandwich.
Is that right? That seems a large amount of power for some smashed up soybeans and wheat. Granted it's only 36rf/t, but it looks like a nice start...if it's right?
I just made my automatic lava generator, and I want to start using lava for power. I'm using simple generators geothermal generators, but I wan to know what upgrades can be put into the upgradable version of the generator. I can't find anything in JEI that seems like it would go in. If its locked behind a prestige upgrade, what upgrade is it?
The simple generators are a good early game RF source but once you get more advanced, use the nuclear reactors or solar panels.
Fully upgrade at least 9 culinary gens with speed modifiers then build a massive pig farm (With a spawner you can craft) using mob mashers that have fire aspect, sharpness, and looting upgrades. If you do it right, you will get hundred if not thousands of cooked porkchops just lying there. Wire up a vacuum hopper to the culinary generators. If you did it correctly, the spawner that you placed (Also, put a dragon egg in the spawner with some sugar, ghast tears, fermented spider eye and clocks) will spawn pigs (Because the spawners in minecraft default to pigs) and the pigs will die on the mob mashers. The vacuum hopper will suck the items up and put the cooked porkchops into the culinary generators, which will produce stupid amounts of power.
This has been on my mind lately since in my SF3 world at the beginning i was using Toast power (the cloche just made that process just even more broken lol)
but at a certain point i couldn't keep up with the demand to make it self sustainable. aka toast burned faster than i could make em.
So my main thinking is just, with enough effort (and possibly grinding) would it be a viable source of power to meet all demands at end game?
Also if you say yes, can you say instead of toast what would be a possible better choice of food to use? (MEAT INGOTS FTW)
