From Idaho to Long Island NY? It's 938 pm right now. I just placed an order. Think there's a strong chance it will come by Friday? Or do the 2 business days start the day after shipment? So say it's shipped tomorrow, Thursday, will it come Monday or does the day it's shipped count as a business day.

The clock doesn't start until the shipper actually gives UPS the package. So the question you actually should ask is, do they have enough time to select and pack your order and have it ready before their scheduled pickup from UPS today. At 9:38pm, I'm gonna say no. The daily pickup probably happened hours ago. Also, choosing Next Day Air doesn't even guarantee Friday if they don't have it boxed and ready before tomorrow's pickup.

I ordered a package Wednesday at 1030am using 2nd day air because I need it before Sunday. The company promises to get your package in same day if ordered before noon (it was), the tracking has said Monday since the first update & when I emailed the company they said sometimes UPS overestimates during the holidays.. would I be able to go pick it up from distribution or somewhere on Saturday?

I had my 2-day air package shipped from CA to VA on Thursday, thinking it would land on Saturday… but after I shipped it out, I see that it said estimated delivery for Monday… i then checked online to see that for Saturday deliveries to happen, the label HAS to have the “sat” premium service selected and said on the label, for it to come on a Saturday… is it possible that the hub will just load it on a truck for Saturday if it lands during then, to ease up volume for Monday? Or would they just hold the package until Monday…
