How to ship using an account number now that all the UPS customer centers are gone?

I had just about the same issue. A little after midnight, I got two emails for UPS My Choice with a username and password already created for me. I knew right away that since I don’t have a My Choice account that something was up, so what I ended up doing was, I went to my local UPS store directly to confirm if the email was legitimate or not. The employee said that although the email was legitimate, since I don’t have a UPS My Choice account, I can disregard it. Gut feeling saved me from being potentially scammed again! When in doubt on whether or not you’re being scammed through something claiming to be the post office, check with the post office directly. It’s done me wonders.

I work in the field/remotely, and up until today, I’ve used a 6 digit account number to ship packages from customer centers. But it appears in the 2 months since I last shipped something, these have ceased to exist. UPS stores tell me they can’t take the account number. What am I supposed to do now?
I work in a large bureaucracy, so presumably someone knows what’s up, but thus far no one I’ve spoken to can tell me how to ship packages on the company account without customer centers, and I have a package that urgently needs to go out. SOS!
