Had an in person interview about a month ago. It seemed like everything went well. I applied to be a journeyman diesel tech. It’s been a month and the status of the application is still “pending”. Haven’t received a rejection email but neither have I received a phone call or acceptance email. In about 4 days it’ll be exactly one month since the interview. Not in a rush to get hired as I currently am employed but I’d like to know if Im in or not. lol I eagerly waited for a call the first 3 weeks but now it seems like if I do get a call it’ll be a couple months wait. What do you guys think?

Hello all. Fellow lurker from the boys in white. Recently applied about a month ago to be a diesel tech with UPS. Got a call after applying a week later and then about another week later a follow up for an in phone interview. After that I got the in person interview which they called me to go in for about two weeks after the phone interview. In person interview well relatively well in my eyes. Now I’ve been eagerly waiting for a call or an email. But it’s been exactly two weeks since the interview and I’ve heard nothing back and my application on workday is still pending. Just wondering how long it took some of you to get a call or hear back after the interview person interview for a mechanic role. Thanks.

I had my interview last week and was told that my orientation date would be on the 8th. Yesterday I checked online and the date was not there and today the application shows as inactive. Does it mean that I got denied? I am fixing to call HR tomorrow…

For anyone who’s filled out an application for ups, I seem to be stuck on the “Hold On Tight! We are checking your status” followed by “Please wait a moment you are moving forward in your process we will need to validate your rehire eligibility with UPS” I’ve never worked for UPS before, so I’m just curious is this is standard? Also how long this may take? Is this something I log out of and log back in, in the next day or two? Thanks!
