I’m receiving a shipment via Ground and I can not see any sort of signature requirements. Won’t be able to work from home on its scheduled delivery day estimate, and this is a shipment I really can’t leave unattended for a long period of time.
I’m trying to change the delivery to be held at a UPS store, which is something I’ve done before, but the only options I’m getting is changing delivery address to a neighbors. From everything I’m finding, the change delivery option should be unavailable if the shipper is blocking delivery modifications, but I’m able to click it and get the neighbor delivery option but nothing else. What am I missing here?
Submitted a request to change delivery from my address to a UPS pickup point (UPS Store near me). Got an email saying that they cant change my delivery and that the package will be delivered to my door. Tracking shows attention needed. Why can't they deliver to the UPS access point, and how can I get that done?

I have a parcel arriving with UPS and have been told it will be delivered next week in a certain time slot and needs signing for. The issue is I’m at work for 3 of the 4 hours so I wanted to rearrange by a couple of days so that it falls on my rest days.
I go to the tracking. There’s the option to change delivery. Tells me to enrol in My Choice (which I know I’ve done previously). I even enter my email and it tells me I’m already enrolled. I can log in but nowhere can I find how to change delivery.
Could anyone direct me please?
I can go to the parcel from my profile and click change delivery from there and it’s just an endless cycle of it wanting me to sign in and then enrol to My Choice. Even though I was already signed in and am enrolled. It’s a really frustrating process and I find the website badly designed. Really not sure how to progress!

I'm from Germany and ordered sth. from the USA, but I'm not home until saturday night, and the parcel delivery had two attempts already, after Friday's third one it's said to be returned to the sender. I have UPS myChoice and tried to change the delivery to a UPS site/location or warehouse, but I'd need an InfoNotice number, which I don't have. Not sure it's a factor, but I also can't properly save settings in myChoice, because my German address is registered as invalid format. I tried calling customer support but they say there's no live support for my problem. I wrote a form but fear it won't come through in time. It's also weird cuz recently I had a package from France and it was just moved to a UPS location close by. Any ideas on how to approach this? So, I ordered a fairly high value item through UPS (just over $1000) a couple of days ago. I recently moved across the US (Arizona to Michigan), and my Google autofilled it to the Arizona address. My purchase is going there, and I attempted to change the delivery address to my current address but on UPS.com it won't allow me to, it sends an error when I try to change the address. It's a signature required package, is that why? And if so, is there anything I can do to get it redirected to my current home? I can't afford the $1000 loss. The seller's customer service line isn't open because it's a weekend, and my package is set to be delivered next Wednesday (the 27th). I sent them an email but it said it may be 1-2 business days, and I'm not sure if it'll be too late on Monday to redirect it. I tried to reach out to UPS via phone, but I don't know how to get in touch witha representative; none of the options I could find redirected me to one. Is there any way to reroute my package through UPS, or am I SOL/stuck waiting on the seller?
chances are the shipper has restrictions and doesnt allow changes to be made. you will have to go through the seller and have them place a delivery intercept on the package to prevent it from being delivered.
Intercept is your best choice. You could also call the ups center that will potentially deliver it to your old address and ask them to redirect it was well. Monday we're closed it's a ups holiday.
I have a package planning to be delivered tomorrow. But I'll be out for 5 days from tomorrow.
I wanted to change the delivery to end of week so UPS don't leave the package on porch or in mail-box unattended (not signature required).
I don't see option to change delivery after I click on "change delivery" and I don't see the package under UPS my choice dashboard either.
Does this mean I have to wait for the package to be "out for delivery" to access delivery option? Or did my sender restrict the option?
I have a signature required package coming my way Tuesday and I'm unexpectedly getting called into work that day. Is there a way to change my delivery to have it rerouted to a a Access Point WITHOUT going to the trouble on enrolling into UPS My Choice? I once had a profile, but deleted it since over the years I had to deal with getting 6-7 charges for packages that weren't sent by me billed to me, and going through the hassle of getting them removed.
I keep trying to change the delivery to not need a signature and just be left at my door. when i save this setting it says successfully changed, but then the setting never sticks after and it goes to the ups center.
happened basically every time i've tried it with multiple different shipments. what gives? i've tried to call customer service a few times and they were perplexed.
So I ordered something that I would prefer my family not see (no not a sex toy or smth), and went to change delivery options to get it shipped to my local UPS store to pick it up. Logged in and it wanted me to do a 2FA email code, which it declined EVERY time. Now it wont let me reverify until tmr, when its supposed to be delivered (shipped today going DE to VA). UPS customer service was useless, told me to wait the 24 hrs to try 2FA again.
Edit: wont be home all day tmr, but will drive by my local UPS store once when they are open.

So I have a global redirect to my local UPS store.
Apparently this specific UPS store doesn't accept UPS packages requiring a signature (why this is the case since I'm required to sign for every package I collect is unclear).
Each time this happens (for a package that requires a signature) when the label is created I get an initial email saying that my package will be redirected (which is obviously not going to happen). Then the day of delivery I get another saying it cannot be. The solution here seems obvious, except to UPS. I've tried asking their customer service to file a "bug report" but they're just refuse and argue.
I get an email from them this morning saying "Sorry, We Can't Change Your Delivery" but no mention of where it will be delivered to. Tracking showed "The package cannot be taken to the intended UPS Location. Please select Change My Delivery to make alternate arrangements". If I log into UPS and do this they are all $$$ options none of which includes "deliver to my home".
I call UPS customer service and they tell me it will be delivered to my home address but a day late.
Now if I look at ups.com tracking now says "out for delivery" but it still shows that it's being redirected the UPS store :-)
I have no clue if anyone at UPS reads this subreddit but the whole experience really needs to be improved.

Well I persisted enough with UPS (Facebook) that I got a call back from my local depot.
They looked at he tracking and said it was "ridiculous" that the system kept stating/emailing that it would not do redirect but then it was always redirected. They said they would escalate the issue to UPS IT.
They also confirmed that the package DID NOT have "no-indirect delivery" as otherwise it would not have been redirected.
Scenario: Immigration documents getting delivered this week (there was no way to tell they were getting delivered this week otherwise would not have travelled). My frustration is because I had two packages, I was able to change delivery for one and the other one doesn't work.
Change My Delivery option online just doesn't work and customer service just gives random reasons to why it's not working, e.g., you enrolled in My Choice account yesterday, address is listed as commercial and not residential.
I have been facing immense issues with rescheduling my delivery for immigration documents. It is very very hard to request change of delivery. The webpage just gets stuck in a loop. And comes back to the same page where it started. I have spoken to 2 agents both saying they can't do anything. Asked it I can get an exception - no we cannot.
Anyone faced any issues recently and were able to change the delivery?
EDIT: Fortunately my neighbor was able to pick it up from the UPS folks on behalf of us as an authorized signatory.
Have a package coming form UK. My dummy self hadnt used Ebay since college and had it shipped to a REALLY old address. Just got the email that UPS has picked it up but its saying I can't change the delivery until the first attempt was made? Any help on what I can do?
Over the weekend I ordered a piece of electronic equipment. With processing and shipping it should have taken 4-5 business days to receive and I would have been home, but turns out it's only 2 day. Unfortunately I'm not going to be home when it's delivered. Since it's high value a signature is required. I attempted to change the delivery date and it's not possible, nor is it possible to hold the package or change anything about the delivery, or even confirm a delivery window. The shipper is really concerned about porch pirates and theft.
It seems they will attempt delivery Wed (tomorrow), Thurs, and Friday before it's returned to sender. I will in fact be home on Friday so that works out. I called UPS customer service and a gentleman confirmed this, but his English was poor and he did not really seem very confident in his answers. Is my best bet to wait for Friday's delivery on 3rd attempt? I'm worried that there could only be 2 delivery attempts for example, or they won't try on consecutive days, or any other problem that could arise. Should I contact the company that is shipping and see if they can change the delivery?
I am waiting on a iPhone. It has been delivered twice and was wondering what happens the 3rd time. I can’t change to delivery to be picked up at the distribution center.

How long after a package can’t be delivered due to a missing/incorrect information does it get sent to an “Access Point” for me to pick up in person? I went to a storefront to see if they were able to help and they were unable too but they did inform me that after so long of not being able to deliver the package it will get sent to an “Access point” or a CVS. Anyone have any information on this?
OK, so I really need some help. I’m not sure what to do but I ordered some cute sexy lingerie for my boyfriend to wear when I visit him tomorrow and I will be at his house for a week as well as I brought a chain with his favorite football team on it as well as a gift long story short both of my items I paid for next day shipping. I brought them yesterday. They were supposed to come today apparently they’re not coming today actually they’re coming next week Wednesday, so not only do I need my money back for the shipping fees, one was $30 for next day shipping. The other one was 20 but now I’m not going to be home to even receive the packages to take with me to go see him, especially his expensive chain i’ve been contacting UPS all day they’re telling me I have to go to the shipper and request them to change it. The shipper or I guess the store is telling me they can’t change the address because UPS already has the item after I asked them to change it before UPS even had the item and that’s for both stores. I was recommended to use UPS my choice. I made my account and put my address in and I keep getting this message saying there’s no packages of yours in transit so now I’m stuck on what to do because the fact I won’t be home, I don’t even feel comfortable having my items sitting in front of my door for a week for someone to steal, especially his expensive chain and most importantly, I want him to get his gifts and I wanna be able to wear my clothes everyone keeps recommending UPS choice, but it doesn’t seem like UPS choice is doing anything for anyone and I want to purchase the premium version of it to see if that helps but I don’t want to waste $20 on something that won’t even work, especially since I know you can still change your address with UPS without even having to have a premiumaccount.
