I'm leaving for 4 days and the stupid package is delivering on the day I'm leaving (of course). However, I know it will be in my city the day before, just at the hub.
We're talking this week. It will be in town tomorrow, but I know it won't be delivered until Thursday. They want me to pay $8 for UPS Ground upgrade, but they won't tell me before I pay if I could pick up the day before delivery since it'll be at the hub.
Any of you ever done something like that and wind up picking up a package the day before delivery after upgrading to Ground and changing delivery to pickup?

Your package is in a trailer with a thousand other packages they can't just go get it. If it's scheduled for Thursday, it won't be unloaded until then.

It's tomorrow. The driver takes it back to the hub tonight at the end of the shift and it will be given to a clerk for an access point upgrade tomorrow. You may be able to contact ups and ask for a pickup. You can drive to the customer counter at ups and pick it up tonight. More on reddit.com
