I'm leaving for 4 days and the stupid package is delivering on the day I'm leaving (of course). However, I know it will be in my city the day before, just at the hub.
We're talking this week. It will be in town tomorrow, but I know it won't be delivered until Thursday. They want me to pay $8 for UPS Ground upgrade, but they won't tell me before I pay if I could pick up the day before delivery since it'll be at the hub.
Any of you ever done something like that and wind up picking up a package the day before delivery after upgrading to Ground and changing delivery to pickup?
If I have a delivery date if tuesday by 9pm (originally was yesterday by 9pm but never came)but I see the package is at the distribution center like two towns over, should I switch it to pick up or keep the delivery date? Which is faster? I want it tomorrow and if I switch it today (Sunday) to pickup, will I be able to pick it up tomorrow or will it not be ready till Tuesday anyways? Also if my delivery was for yesterday by 9pm, why is it Tuesday now? I'm just wondering what I can do to get it tomorrow, I already tried paying ten bucks to switch the date to tomorrow but I did that days ago

I’m receiving a shipment via Ground and I can not see any sort of signature requirements. Won’t be able to work from home on its scheduled delivery day estimate, and this is a shipment I really can’t leave unattended for a long period of time.
I’m trying to change the delivery to be held at a UPS store, which is something I’ve done before, but the only options I’m getting is changing delivery address to a neighbors. From everything I’m finding, the change delivery option should be unavailable if the shipper is blocking delivery modifications, but I’m able to click it and get the neighbor delivery option but nothing else. What am I missing here?
I have an important package that needs an adult signature and the delivery was scheduled for 1-4 Thursday. They came at 11 when no one was home, left a note and rescheduled it for Friday, 1-4. They came at 11 again but I was home and ran to the door but watched them drive away, there was a note. They rescheduled it for Saturday 1-4. I got an e-mail at 9:30 today (Saturday) saying it was now rescheduled for Monday 3-6, no ring or knock or even the sound of a truck on my street and no note. I need this package today so I immediately payed the $6 dollars the website made me pay to switch my delivery to a UPS pick-up location. Can I expect them to delivery it there today so I can pick it up? Just really need to know if I need to start making other arrangements.
Update: I got the package delivered at 2 today! Wasted $6 because of the email this morning. Actually I wasted a lot of money today because I had already gotten an alternative. Good thing I was home in time from getting that to receive the package! At least now I dont have to drive to a pickup location.

Depends on how early you made the request. The packages need to be intercepted. If you did it after the driver returns to building then it'll probably not get intercepted in time.
So I changed this delivery for a pickup on 19th at 9 AM. Before I made the change, the original delivery date was on 23rd (this Monday). But I haven't gotten any updates since then. The only reason I'm worried is because I'm gonna leave the country next week and I have to receive this delivery. According to UPS, all change requests are completed within 24-48 hours. We're at the 42nd hour mark so I'm kinda stressed out. What do you think is going on here? Do you think I can pickup the package until 27th because that's when I leave the country.
I had a package that had to be signed for being delivered to a place I was going to be staying at this week and I was not there to sign for it when it came so I changed it to pickup at a nearby location.
I thought it would be available next day for pickup but it changed it to NEXT WEEK for some strange reason (the package is in the area already so why next week?!) and now I won’t be here next week to pick it up so I want to change it to be delivered to an entirely new address.
I know obviously delivery to pickup is allowed, but how about vice versa?

No I don’t believe you can. You can look at ups my choice and see if it lets you but I don’t think that it will
I have a signature required package coming my way Tuesday and I'm unexpectedly getting called into work that day. Is there a way to change my delivery to have it rerouted to a a Access Point WITHOUT going to the trouble on enrolling into UPS My Choice? I once had a profile, but deleted it since over the years I had to deal with getting 6-7 charges for packages that weren't sent by me billed to me, and going through the hassle of getting them removed.

You can't change the delivery address on a phone. After 3 attempts it will be RTS'd

Submitted a request to change delivery from my address to a UPS pickup point (UPS Store near me). Got an email saying that they cant change my delivery and that the package will be delivered to my door. Tracking shows attention needed. Why can't they deliver to the UPS access point, and how can I get that done?

There possibly is for sending it to a ups store, I have a my choice account and it still shows like a $5 fee for sending it to an actual ups store franchise. This also adds time because it has to be processed and delivered to the store. Another option would be to have it held at the operating facility, which is what I do, it's always free and doesn't add all that much time because the box is already just about where it's going to end up when it's processed. If it's easy enough to get to your local facility, it's definitely the way to go.
Yes there is a fee. It's like 5 dollars I believe. They are independently owned franchises and not part of UPS delivery operations. It's how they make extra money. UPS pays the fee if you are a My Choice member

I have a parcel arriving with UPS and have been told it will be delivered next week in a certain time slot and needs signing for. The issue is I’m at work for 3 of the 4 hours so I wanted to rearrange by a couple of days so that it falls on my rest days.
I go to the tracking. There’s the option to change delivery. Tells me to enrol in My Choice (which I know I’ve done previously). I even enter my email and it tells me I’m already enrolled. I can log in but nowhere can I find how to change delivery.

I can go to the parcel from my profile and click change delivery from there and it’s just an endless cycle of it wanting me to sign in and then enrol to My Choice. Even though I was already signed in and am enrolled. It’s a really frustrating process and I find the website badly designed. Really not sure how to progress!
I’m trying to reroute a UPS package that’s attempted delivery at my apartment for 2 days for pick up, however when getting to the change delivery page and get promoted to change the delivery location or date, the page cog just loads forever. Anyone have a solution for this? Tried calling and they said it’s not doable by phone, the app returns the “not available” error. Thank you for your help!

Scenario: Immigration documents getting delivered this week (there was no way to tell they were getting delivered this week otherwise would not have travelled). My frustration is because I had two packages, I was able to change delivery for one and the other one doesn't work.
Change My Delivery option online just doesn't work and customer service just gives random reasons to why it's not working, e.g., you enrolled in My Choice account yesterday, address is listed as commercial and not residential.
I have been facing immense issues with rescheduling my delivery for immigration documents. It is very very hard to request change of delivery. The webpage just gets stuck in a loop. And comes back to the same page where it started. I have spoken to 2 agents both saying they can't do anything. Asked it I can get an exception - no we cannot.
Anyone faced any issues recently and were able to change the delivery?
EDIT: Fortunately my neighbor was able to pick it up from the UPS folks on behalf of us as an authorized signatory.
