Shipping delay?
TL;DR: Paid for 2 day shipping, package is estimated to arrive 6 days later than that, for a total of 8 days, on par with their free shipping. They offered a partial refund because it's not their fault but "they care." Yup, sure have. I paid for 2 day shipping. My order was supposed to arrive on Wednesday, 8/19/2020 according to their site when I placed the order. Checking tracking, it got bumped to Friday, 8/21. Ok, Covid's a thing right now, not happy, but hey, life happens, right? Then it got bumped to Tuesday, 8/25. Not even in the realm of what they promised, and no faster than if I had just got normal run of the mill free shipping. Contacted support, who said UPS didn't pick it up until 2 days after they were supposed to. Also said that's not Newegg's fault, and therefore they weren't responsible for refunding shipping. They offered half the shipping cost. I took it because I didn't want to fight with them over 5 more dollars. But you know what? I'm still mad at them because they didn't provide anything close to what they promised, and didn't accept responsibility for fixing it because they can pass the buck to UPS and blame them. I don't care, I gave Newegg the extra money to get the product to me faster, they didn't deliver, and almost a week after it was promised I'm still waiting for it. UPS can't make the delivery date you promised? Find a shipper who can meet that date, or don't offer that date. Thankfully, I'm only out $5 on the supposedly better shipping and I'm still going to get what I ordered. But I'm also not going to order from them again, because if they can't fix a minor issue like this, then I don't want to deal with them if I ever need to make a return or if something major doesn't work, like if the package doesn't even arrive. I was at a conference about 5 hrs from home and realized I left my wallet at home. My husband went to the UPS store (franchise) and paid for overnight 10am delivery. I see on day 2 at the conference(delivery day!) was delayed in the same town I was in.

I get up on day 3 and realize that it’s not on a truck by 9- I’m leaving at 1. It’s not gonna make it. I call customer service and just ask them to return to sender. They confirm it’s updated and I’m good.

While I’m on my way home I get a notification that it was delivered at the conference location. I had to have them FedEx it back to me overnight.

Is there any way I can get a refund? I’ve called the store and they refuse to answer me. I’ve stopped by multiple times and “a manager that isn’t here will call you.”
