Same as every other place. Need to be at least 21, valid license, clean driving record for I think 2 years, need to able to lift at least 70 pounds regularly.
Any jobs right now would be seasonal, any driver jobs outside of Christmas season are only open to current UPS employees

Well... I'm 34 and my career isn't going so well. I'm thinking about UPS. I live in Denver. I probably won't pee clean from marijuana for a few months because I've been a regular user for a few years. Any advice on what the Denver UPS job market is like? I don't want to get sucked in to a part time work/seasonal then lay-off position that won't lead to advancement. What is it like here in Denver?
How is the volume out there, is anyone seeing any layoffs at all? Also, why does it seem as though Durango and aurora are always hiring for drivers? I am considering taking a full time driving position and would be moving out of state for it, is it worth the opportunity to bypass the years that I would otherwise spend on the pathway to becoming a driver at a hub near me in Florida. Thank you.
