How does the UPS heavy package pick-up fee work?
Shipping HEAVY package
If your package exceeds over 150 lb you're going to have to wait quite a while to get it cuz no UPS driver is going to want to touch the box. Do what those giant retailers do when they ship out couches and send it in four separate packages under the weight limit. Don't be surprised if you receive your package damaged. They're not going to take any accountability if you were the one that packed it. So make sure you do it correctly. Good luck!

Title. I've got a box thats not quite big enough for freight, but weighs 90 lbs. UPS' website says you can be charged an additional handling fee for it when you do pickup, but doesnt go into detail about how much that is, unless I missed something. Is there some kind of fixed number, or do drivers just make up a number or something? I dont wanna get jumpscared by a huge fee and eat the cost, I'd be better off trying to get it to a UPS store at that point. :[
