I am a former employee of UPS (august 2014-February 2016) in which I was a package handler at the distribution center in Dallas, TX. I am currently filling out a background check for a position with another company and it's covering the last 7 years of employment for me which includes my time at UPS. I have not been able to in touch with anyone so far and the automated machine I get has been completely useless in helping find someone. I was tempted to reach out to someone on linkedin but it seems that they're not active enough on there to make it worth trying to contact them.
How should I go about reaching to HR or the personnel department so that I can get this handled as soon as possible?
Corporate and HR really suck this bad? : r/UPSers
UPS workers of Reddit: pros and cons and would you recommend it?
Being a loader is a good job for those going to school. Best benefits hands down for a part time job. Probably better than most benefits you'd get at a typical full time job. Actual pay probably isn't anything to write home about.
If it's money you want being a driver is probably best. They make bank and have the benefits. Cons are you have no life M-F and probably Saturday as well if you're a Sat driver. Pretty stressful imo as well, but I don't like driving.
Management is good if you have a degree. You'll get fast tracked through if you have a bachelors and there's a lot of different departments to move to.
