This information is for retired UPSers. Active employees should visit the employment and salary verification page on myHR. Protecting the privacy of each employee is one of the core values of UPS. If an outside agency wishes to verify the pension income of a retired UPSer, the retired employee should e-mail retirement@ups.com with the employee's ID number with the agencies contact information. In the event that an outside organization wishes to verify either the employment status or income of a retired UPSer from when they were an active employee, it will use The Work Number®. This automated, external employment verification service is updated weekly by UPS with pertinent information related to employment status and job description and salary, ensuring a streamlined flow of information to those who require it, while also guaranteeing your privacy. There are many circumstances in which employment and income verification may be necessary, such as in loan or mortgage applications, to establish credit, to buy a car or lease an apartment, or for reference checks. In most cases, the employee will provide the outside party with their consent to access the Work Number database. What you'll need to do All UPSers are free to check their information that is stored in Work Number. Simply click the Action Link below and enter UPS Employer Code 11463. If you are applying for credit or other services and the verifier requests proof of your employment or income, direct them to the relevant Action Link below and instruct them to enter UPS Employer Code 11463. In order to log in to the system, you will need to enter a Personal Identification Number (PIN) consisting of the last four digits of your social security number, followed by your four-digit birth year.
