May 1, 2022Has anyone used UPS Intercept before?
It has been about 2 years, but yes, I have been able to do a UPS intercept. If I remember correctly, I think they knew where it was when I called them, and were basically able to stop it’s progress pretty much right away, and it was returned to me within 2-3 days. I called for the intercept the day after I sent on a 3 day shipment. More on reddit.com

The package recipient decided they didn't want the item just after I had shipped it. They called UPS and had it intercepted and returned to sender.
My invoice has a $24.90 intercept fee. I obviously didn't authorize any of this. The dispute button on the invoice does not work. How can I call someone in the US and dispute this charge?

If the recipient doesn’t want it, it comes back to you, and you’re charged since it’s your accoutn

Hi Everyone,
I sell used car parts on ebay, and it finally happened: I put the UPS label on the wrong package and proudly walked it into the UPS store for delivery today. Then this evening, I was packing some more parts and I realized my mistake. I went into UPS.com and registered an intercept. For a $15 fee (if they manage to get the package rerouted) they will send it to the right place.
Has anyone had success or failure with an intercept before? If so, how long did it take them to lay hands on the package and reroute it?
