Always add in at least 4 forms because the customs agents do like to keep a copy. Shipping from the US to the Philippines
I sent a cell new Samsung Galaxy cell phone by UPS or FedEx once - the recipient had to pay substantial import duties. Typically, however, I would fill a balikbayan box full with items (certain food items other than rice are inexpensive in the U.S., but expensive or unobtainable in the Philippines) and thus one can fill a balikbayan box with mostly inexpensive items and the expensive item (a laptop, for instance) happens to be among them :-) That said, balikbayan boxes are shipped by ship - think 5 weeks, not 2 days. It doesn't have to be a UPS envelope. Just make sure you're using a hard cardboard like envelope like the UPS envelopes are not a paper envelope because it'll rip. Make sure you put in the proper dimensions when you make the label. Yes you can put it in a Dropbox.
