Small items should go through USPS better, UPS does charge a lot for small things but that seems like crazy expensive as well. Did they mess up the weight? More on reddit.com

So I shipped out 2 playing cards yesterday. The package weight was .33 oz and used a bubble mailer. Can anybody tell me why the heck ups charged me 30 dollars to ship them to Texas from Ohio ? Am I missing something or what?

Never use UPS for shipping unless you're a business getting a better deal. Use a bubble mailer for anything over $30, and a regular envelope with a top loader if you're mailing cards. Shouldn't run you more than $6 or so with USPS, or just the cost of a stamp for the envelope.
