Anyone else facing delays from Germany? UPS is saying it is due to customs, but it seems like the facility at Cologne has a history of issues.

Now it’s saying: 05.09 Delay (Koeln, Germany) 05.09 Rescheduled Delivery, but no updated date.

Now it seems to have departed or at least moved! As of 9pm in Germany: 06.09 On the way (Koeln, Germany)

Seems to be out for delivery now in USA.

** Edit 4: arrived! No explanation from UPS…. **

I'm not sure why my package is still in Koeln. I feel like they are moving it for no reason. Its supposed to arrive at my place tomorrow, but I'm in France and I definitely don't see how it can arrive in the next few days, let alone few hours, if they keep scanning it like that 😅

My package has been stuck in Koeln for almost 10 days, status changing between import scan / warehouse scan. What could possibly go wrong. I tried to contact UPS but no luck so far (email and twitter).

Literally been waiting nearly 2 weeks for 2 packages that are now just listed as DELAYED in Koeln. UPS customer services are fcking useless and just keep telling me to check tracking (like I'm not, every day). Seriously... What the actual fck can I do? Anyone who works in Koeln here to help or have any tips on how I can get this moving?

I’ve had a package stuck in Köln for going on 3 weeks now. With the same stupid updates of import scan/warehouse scan. UPS customer service have been absolutely useless after 15+ calls. Any idea what I can do? They’ve been given every document they could possibly need multiple times via email & phone. They stop replying to emails after they know they’re in the wrong. I ordered an item from china 26 days ago but has been stuck in koeln Germany since the 12th and just keeps updating with warehouse scan. I asked the seller an est delivery and he said 10 - 20 days. that has passed and the item still hasn't entered the country. starting to get a bit worried. can anyone give some info as to what's going on? cheers

Try emailing the CEO, Carol Tome. Most likely she doesn't check her own mail, but if enough of us flood the inbox maybe something will get done. I have a few friends who work in domestic media channels. I'm going to try to get them involved and see if some public negative exposure will light a fire under their asses. I feel for those with time sensitive and/or perishables that are caught up in this bullshit.

it was out for delivery april 30 and almost 2h later there was the delay-message;

then, 2 days later, same story; it was out for delivery (doesnt say it here but when i checked this morning it said they loaded the package in the truck just for it it to be delayed AGAIN 2h later... ive called customer support 2 times and each time they basically just said 'there are some issues rn but it will be delivered soon' and then i get an email from them telling me that theyre sorry and working on it...

im so scared it wont arrive at all tbh :/ is there something else i can do?

Is this normal behavior for UPS? Should I not have chosen 'Expedited'?

Hi all, on Sept. 27 I sent a package of documents from Germany to Canada. Since Sept. 30 the package has been sitting in the Koeln warehouse stuck in an endless death loop of delay. All UPS customer service can tell me is that they're low on plane capacity. The package contains time-sensitive documents that are extremely difficult to replace, and if the package doesn't move soon, my immigration application could fall through. To say I'm stressed and fuming is an understatement.

At this point I just want my envelope back so I can re-send it by snail mail. Is it possible to have it rerouted back to me, the sender? I created the shipping label while logged into my UPS account but for some reason it's not showing up in the UPS My Choice dashboard.
