Likely depends on the area. In mine, we only deliver Saturday air on Saturdays. No ground deliveries and no pickups on Saturday. So if a package is dropped off, at like a UPS store or similar on Saturday, it isnt being picked up until the end of day on Monday More on reddit.com

That time is set so that packages can make it back in time.. But, they aren’t picked up on Sunday’s. So it’s going out Monday for Tuesday delivery.
