Anyone know what it’s like at any UPS in/around cbus as a package handler? Curious if any different than FedEx, in terms of pay and benefits, but also work environment, hours, etc. appreciate any insight.
Unionized so better than FedEx
I did 10 years at ups, almost every position, from loader, pick off (no longer exists) E reg driver, I did combo bids, air driver... etc, you will bust you ass as a loader, but the benefits will blow any other jobs benefits out of the water, you will start part time, max 5 hours a day, anything over 5 is OT in a day, with peak season coming up, take the chance if your not worried about busting your ass, also a new contract went through, not sure when it takes place but starting off I think went to 20+ for part timers One of my best friends still drives for them and I still get all the updates, I miss working there with the people I knew for the 10 years I did, my I didn't have much family time with my kids so I took the leap of faith to leave... I hope this helps some Good luck
