I just had to go through this process and figured I'd post here in case this helps anyone else out.
I had originally made a typo on the address of my PSVR2 pre-order. I had since updated the address on my account thinking that was all I needed to do. I didn't realize it didn't update the address on the order itself until it was too late. So I had to do an intercept with UPS to avoid it getting shipped to the wrong place.
If you're in the US, you can call the UPS re-routing center at 1-800-742-5877. They needed my name and the tracking number. They can do a MINOR change (meaning a small address change like two numbers transposed) free of charge. Changing the entire address or doing a "hold for pickup at a UPS location near you" is a $7.99 charge that they process over the phone.
It was a fairly simple and hassle free process that brought me a lot of peace of mind.

You should also know certain companies (Best Buy included) disables these options through their corporate account with UPS, so even with My Choice, you will not be able to even pay to reroute packages.

When it ships, call UPS customer service and request to have an intercept put on the package for an address correction. It’s fairly common. I think there is a charge to put an intercept on as it requires some legwork on our level to find the package and fix the address. More on reddit.com
