Unless I’m completely misunderstanding it, you can pay small fee, to have access to the tracking history for up to 10 years for a single package. Who needs the exact tracking data for a package 10 years later? And if you do, why pay for it when you could save it yourself?

Its mainly for big shipments/companies who order in bulk incase there is need for a lawsuit in the future. A screenshot wont prove anything, but if the tracking history is still available in their servers for u then its an authentic source of tracking verification one may need to win their case.
