I think im a bit paranoid as its my first special package to me.
havent really recieved updates after it was cleared but noticed the UPS flights were leaving/making it somewhat on a timely manner. Is the following above normal? Hopefully i get something tonight? anyways happy holidays folks!!
I ordered an ipad and its coming from china. but ups site said it takes 2-3 days for worldwide express saver. but my tracking says that its due to deliver on the 9th. or am i wrong about how long WW Express takes?
Hi all,
I'm getting a strange quote that shows worldwide expedited is faster than saver. It should be the other way around, no? Wondering if there's a reason for this that someone here can help explain.
My main goal is to ship as quickly as possible and I have a feeling this quote might be a mistake.
Thanks!
Hi,
Just to demystify this and save me (and others confusion)...
When ordering parcels from a shop from Spain (EU) to the UK (no longer in EU), is it faster to get UPS Worldwide Saver or UPS Standard?
UPS Standard seems to be 1-5 days, correct?
UPS Worldwide Saver seems to be 2-5 days, but more expensive than the Standard.
Seems backwards? What should I pick if I want the package delivered as fast as possible?
So I was scheduled to receive my package on Tuesday, 22 June in Canada from the US. Shipment was shipped on Monday, 21 June using the worldwide Saver package. On 22nd June, early morning, I received a notification from UPS to pay customs/brokerage fee online or pay it to the driver during delivery. I chose to pay online. Tracker was updated to import fees received and check back tomorrow for delivery date. On the same night I received an SMS saying that the package would be delivered the following day. Okay. The next day (today) I saw that there is a tick mark on Cleared customs, but now the next step says 'On the way (clearance in progress)'. Confused, I called customer service and then told me that "The first clearance was on the US side. This clearance is on the Canada side". I was like fine (or maybe this is bs ? I dont know). Tracker got updated to 'Check tomorrow for an updated delivery date'. So basically 24 June.
Is this supposed to happen even when I ensure that I paid the import fees promptly. The saver package mentions clearly next day guaranteed delivery. But in reality its not. For me currently, its 3 days and counting. Am I missing something here ?
I have a Cleveland Ohio destination scan this morning, I hear they dont do out for delivery scans on Saturday?
Is there anyway to tell if my package has customs fees on the tracking page?
Do they even deliver on Saturdays?
Curious overall if I should expect it to be coming, its scheduled for Monday. If its coming today I need to go to my relatives where its being delivered and leave my bank card there, I assume they have a card reader for any fees?
Has something recently changed in the worldwide saver and express saver? In the last two days I have been charged brokerage fees on two shipments, one from HK (express saver) one from USA (ww saver), its only 11$ cad so I didnt' want to delay the delivery.
What am I missing?
I’m shipping some paper documents from US east coast to China. The package weighs 0.1 lb. UPS says they only have one option — worldwide express saver, which costs $105. I was a bit surprised that I have no choice AND this “saver” option is so expensive. In people’s experience, is this pricing normal?
Saver is four times more expensive. That would suggest it's quicker but according to google it's slower? Which one should I choose for faster delivery?
I had something shipped by a company in Mexico to myself via UPS Worldwide Express which ended up being shipped UPS Worldwide Express Saver which is referenced everywhere except the tracking page as UPS Worldwide Saver (I think??).
First off shout out to whoever decided to name all of these shipping service levels and especially the UI/UX team for keeping the general public on their toes by using different names everywhere on the website.
Anyway not important, all ends up being the same date and since it's not a new liver I figure I can wait until end-of-day. It made it to the destination facility this morning, with a status of "Processing at UPS facility" at 9AM local time, about 20 miles away. Noon rolls around and while I'm trying my best to not get sunburnt on this beautiful September day I get a notification from the UPS app. After struggling to read what it says through the glare from the complete and utter lack of clouds in the sky above, I see that it says "Severe weather has delayed the package. It will be delivered as soon as conditions permit." I also see that I need to check back tomorrow for a delivery date. Thanks FedEx UPS
I've read through this sub and definitely get the understaffed overworked situation going on, I feel for you and don't have any desire to buy a dog and keep it off leash for when this thing does finally get delivered.
That being said, my only questions are:
-
Does this sound like a one-day delay thing? A drag-this-out-for-a-week thing?
-
Since I have no idea what name Worldwide Saver is being called this week, is it back under a guarantee and am I within my right to respectfully request my $30-something dollars be returned to me (well really the shipper and then me)? Shit, after reading how rough you guys have it I'd rather give it to whoever ends up delivering it to get some lunch than whoever in corporate decided to guarantee it.
Hello!
As the title said, what is the difference between UPS Worldwide Express Saver and UPS Express Saver? Are they the same thing? I am asking because I want to order something from the UK and they are going to send it through UPS express saver. I know my past packages from the US are using UPS Worldwide Express Saver (at least the name is this). Do these two services have different brokerage fees if going to Canada? I know UPS worldwide expedited/saver only charges 10 dollars for brokerage. Does UPS express saver from the UK charge the same or differently?
They both seem to be next day delivery, so im fascinating if anyone knows the difference lol Im in canada if that changes anything
Ordered a package from Sweden, shipped on Sept 30th, arrived in Cologne/Koeln on Oct 2nd and have been getting this update since. What the f is going on?
I recently ordered an iPad Air 4 and Apple shipped it on Tuesday with UPS Worldwide Express Saver. It is on its way from Anchorage, AK to Louisville, KY and says it will be delivered tomorrow, Friday, by the end of the day. I live in the Toronto area. Is this a realistic timeline? Or will I have to wait until next week/the weekend?

Alaska to Kentucky to Toronto can be a one day trip, if anything holds it up I’d say it would be customs..
If it doesn’t say out for delivery Friday by 9:30 you’re probably looking at Monday.
I am going to order some European skincare that ships directly from France! They are offering the UPS express saver option which is faster than usps and way cheaper! Should I be worried about extra fees? I read a post where someone received an outrageous bill from UPS after the fact, although I think they were able to have ups reverse it. If I keep it all under the $800 de minimus will I be fine?
I'm expecting a large and heavy (26kg) package from China, which was shipped via UPS Worldwide Express Saver. For those who have been on the receiving end of this service (and in the US), what was your experience like? Was it quick? Did it take a bit? I was supposed to receive this on 11/4, but as you can see, it was "in" Seattle the same day after leaving KY. I put in a request to hold the package at my local UPS CC since I wasn't going to be home when it was supposed to be delivered, but didn't seem to receive a confirmation that the request was completed, so I ended up canceling it on Monday (11/7). I called UPS on Monday to inquire about the package and was told that they were showing that it should be delivered the next day before noon. That came and gone, so I called again and the lady I spoke to said that the last physical scan was in KY and the other scans in Seattle were logical scans, which didn't make sense to me (until I did some research on this sub), so she said it might be lost and I should file a claim. I can't file a claim because the delivery date hasn't been set, so I guess I just have to wait.
Anyway, TLDR, should I be concerned here or just be patient and wait? I'm ok with waiting, it's just an expensive package and I don't want it to end up being damaged/lost. Thanks all!
I would be worried, yes. You can contact the shipper and have them file the claim. They are the ones who will be reimbursed if it is in fact lost.
