Not to be a downer, but remember the total cost is $1402.21, giving you 9 combat patrol boxes, which are worth about $1512. It's not a terribly huge savings in the long run. Premium adds another $270, but I didn't add up their value, though it is clearly higher. More on reddit.com

If a small company making a shoddy product went out of business 30 years ago (before the web had really taken off as we know it), it stands to reason you wouldn't be able to turn up much online. If you know what state/county they were incorporated in you could start digging around in court records, real-estate transactions, the local paper, etc. But there won't be much online, if anything. These monstrosities were a product of the Clinton AWB in 1994. They were everywhere back then. The Ban was coming and everybody knew it, and these people were cranking out magazine shaped objects 24 hours a day. Heat treatment sucked, finish sucked, and reliability was awful. They were just getting product to a panicking market. The rumor I heard back then (I was working in a gun shop in the 90's) was that USA just kept making mags after The Ban and got caught. The Man fined them something like 100,000 bucks for it, and they were laughing that that was like less than a couple days of profit and offered to pay 200,000 since they weren't planning on stopping and wanted to pay off their next fine too. Probably a rumor, but maybe not. These magazines helped me buy my Uzi. There was one sitting gathering dust in a shop where I was working and when I looked at it, it had a USA mag in it. Nobody was buying it because the gun "didn't work". I got the gun instead of getting paid for some or other gunsmith job and put some surplus IDF mags in it, runs fine now. More on reddit.com
