is the usaa credit card a good one to apply for? i got pre-approged to apply and im heavily considering it.
and is banking with usaa recommended? im currently with sound credit union but my car loan is thru usaa and im thinking it might be easier to bank with them as well so all that $ is in the same place

I bank with them and have their credit card. Their customer service is great and they've alerted me to fraud a few times before I even knew their was fraud. I don't have any complaints.

I must of had 15 USAA debit cards in the last two years. They must be easy to scam. I must have had 30 transactions from meta attack my account. Guess what I got a new card. USAA has problems and are not working to improve them . I’m leaving USAA and have opened a new account at a different bank. Problem solved.

I'm looking to get my first credit card. I know USAA doesn't have the best credit cards available but I am already banking with them as a military member and the convenience makes it more appealing to me. However, there are too many options, so I just wanted to get some opinions on the different cards they offer, or if I should just use a card from somewhere else anyways.

Depends on what you want out of it. For cash-back, Discover does very well. Travel card? Probably Capital One. I have one basic CC with 6% interest and one rewards card from USAA. The rewards card is competitive with most other banks and is my everyday card.
