I have had my secured card for about 3 years. My score is now 700+. Supposedly USAA has a program for upgrading to unsecured cards. I've talked to a representative about it and they have no idea what the requirements are for upgrading a card. I frankly just want my money back at this point as I can stick that 1K in an account with better rates that the current CD USAA has it in. I feel like there is no point in waiting on USAA to do right by me. How much would closing hurt my score. Has anyone actually had their card upgraded?
