Hi. I purchased an iPhone 15 pro Max. Received an Apple USB C cable in box. Does not support USB 3.0 speeds, one of the main features taking me from 15 to 15 Pro. Apple does not sell a cable rated for 3.0 speeds. Some reports say now that using non Apple cables to charge can cause overheating due to different pin configuration between Apple and Android devices.
Looking for a C to C, or A to C cable for data transfer rated for USB 3.0+ speeds. Could not care about charging capacity of cable.
Recommendations for cables? Am I falling for horseshit marketing? Desire to move large files from phone to PC more rapidly than before.
