I had a 10 ft micro usb cable for my PS4/DualShock 4 from the brand Onn. After multiple years i had to replace it. Bought a braided one from a different brand that claimed to be compatible w/ PS4, and it’s been messing up really bad. Sometimes when I play while charging it’ll disconnect and ask me which user I want to sign into in the middle of the game. Other times it’ll be plugged up to my controller, and my PS Platinum Headset will disconnect. I have to to reset my head to make it come back. I’ve only had the problems while this new cable is connected to the DS4.
I am currently looking for a reliable 10 ft USB-C to USB-C cable (preferably white to match the DualSense). Does anyone have any suggestions. I would hate to buy one that ends up making my PS5 malfunction.

I don’t know if you bought a cheap cable but some cheap cables absolutely fuck up devices. Your best option is to buy a higher end cable
