I mean just a standard drum practice pad, but also with the ability to hook it up to a USB on a computer to input the hits as MIDI data.
This would enable a lot of things, such as being able to save your practices/performances and also being able to record drum fills more organically and things like that if you program your drums by hand.

There's all sorts of them. Roland and Alesis have many variations on the theme as do others. Of course they're designed to be a lot more than just a practice pad. You can also buy just the electronic pads from Roland and Alesis that do just what you're looking for.
